Hi,

I've downloaded a trade data table consisting the whole world trade and only Import Export data (not "Re-Import" and "Re-Export").

Now, about 30 of the 140 countries are reporting Import data to themselves which means that Reporter and Partner are the same (f.e. Albania to Albania) and this tradevalue is nonzero.

How can I interprete this tradevalue?

Re-import means that the country import the products that were manufactured/produced in the country itself. The products might be out of country for minor activities, such as packaging.
