Unfortunately, Basic Query only works well with Internet Explorer.

It may due the internet browser that you used. Due to lack of resources, UN Comtrade is best viewed by Internet Explorer 6.x and some pages may not work properly in other browsers.  As an alternative, you can go to express selection and type code of reporters/partners and years.  

I tried to run the following web query to get all the uploaded dates for Bangladesh 2004 data after 2004 Jan, but all I got was Jan 2007 as a result. http://unstats.un.org/unsd/comtradedist/refs/getDataAvailability.aspx?lowT=2004-01-01&r=50&y=2004  Is there a way to determine when it was first published?

You may notice then after migrating to new domain, basic query response was slow. The patch has been applied and you shoud notice faster response time.
